Greener Power, Greater Learning

In May 2025, giv-e provided and installed a complete solar energy system at the Lebanese University Faculty of Agriculture. The project included:

• 98 solar panels with their galvanized structures
• A 50kW three-phase hybrid inverter system
• A high-voltage lithium battery storage system of 12 batteries with a total capacity of over 60kWh
• ~1,900m of cable
• A motorized automatic transfer switch

Thanks to this upgrade, they can now reliably refrigerate their research samples and materials—something previously impossible due to outdated electrical infrastructure.

Reliable power now safeguards research, preserves materials, ensures accurate student experiments, supports continuous learning, cuts fuel dependence, saves money, and reduces pollution—building a cleaner, smarter campus. The system benefits 850 students and 170 staff.

In line with our skin-in-the-game principle, the university will establish a fully equipped computer lab in 2025, funded by solar savings and its budget. This urgently needed lab will replace the barely functional current one and support students and faculty.
